Objective
The Ph.D. candidates enrolled in this program will receive an in-depth education on quantum science, in the main material platforms used in experiments, and in the mathematical concepts used for their description, as well as in the information and computation science concepts.
A unique characteristic of the research projects is their high degree of interdisciplinarity.
Duration
3 years.
Enrollment
Students of the Doctoral (Ph.D.) schools/programmes of Trento University in Physics, in Mathematics, in Materials, Mechatronics and Systems Engineering (MMSE), in Information and Communication Technologies (ICT), in Civil, Environmental and Mechanical Engineering.
Tutors
One main tutor from one PhD school and a second from another PhD school to promote interdisciplinarity
Study Plan: 18 ECTS credits divided into 9 credits of fundamental courses on QT and 9 credits of courses related to the specialization, including summer/winter schools.
Progress Evaluation
Yearly presentation of the activity in front of the Panel.
