We are organizing the annual general assembly of Q@TN (quantumtrento.eu), the joint lab between University of Trento, Bruno Kessler Foundation, INFN and CNR on quantum science and technologies. The assembly will be on October 22 at 14.30 in a blended mode, with participation both online and in presence. The assembly will gather together about 80 people from a diverse community of scientists and engineers that are located both in Trento and in other italian institutes. It is the time at which we discuss the progress and future actions of Q@TN. As an introduction to the closed assembly, we plan to have an open inspiration lecture on a topic relevant for Q@TN.

Investing in quantum startups: opportunities, challenges and how to play for aspiring entrepreneurs and ecosystems
Summary:
In 2021 close to $3bn will go into startups in the field of quantum technologies. This is an outstanding acceleration that holds opportunities for stakeholders in the field, but also raises many questions. I will introduce the audience to Quantonation’s journey, the largest global early stage fund that is a pure player in quantum technologies with investments in companies such as Pasqal, Qu&Co and Qnami, and discuss strategies for building successful ecosystems and startups.
